What We Offer
All centres run a bus for families that are unable to get their children to the centre. This includes pick up and drop off services for families within a set distance from the centre during school terms. These runs are conducted by a fully licensed driver during set time frames to ensure routines are maintained. We also do school drop off and pick up to some of the local schools from each centre.
Our centres provide nutritious meals for healthy growing bodies, which are prepared by our passionate cook. Meals provided include breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack. Menus are on a 5 week rotation and updated regularly in line with the Australian Dietary Guidelines. We cater for all children’s allergy and dietary requirements, including halal and vegetarian.
We embed the Early Years Learning Framework, My Time Our Place and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines into our centre programs. We seek feedback and information from families on their child’s interests and development to prepare a meaningful plan to ensure their learning is guided to continually scaffold each child towards becoming an independent and confident learner.
Being, belonging and becoming is recognised as integral parts to a child’s identity. Our programs include a variety of cultural celebrations and learning experiences to support children’s and families connectedness within the centre. This is supported in collaboration with families within our community.
We are Government approved providers for the Kindergarten program. Children attend these sessions for the year prior to beginning Prep. Kindergarten sessions are run by qualified Early Childhood Teachers who work closely with local schools to ensure children are prepared for entry into Prep.
Educators utilise this framework to ensure that the curriculum that they provide allows for quality teaching and learning for children, facilitating the children’s development and learning in each of the five outcomes. We also incorporate Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline into the Kindergarten program.
